Marissa is a fine artist drawing inspiration from the sea to create the most interesting sketches of whales, moons, sea creatures and scales. She is currently writing and illustrating a book on conservation as she solo travels from the border of Mexico to Canada! Check out her Kickstarter
Together we sketched an idea for a ring drawing inspiration from an art piece she made of a whale circling the moon.
Then during my design trip to Thailand, I worked with artisan friend to bring the design to life. We went through three renditions of the design until it was perfect using hand selected quartz crystals and the finest silver.
I met Marissa along her journey in the Puget Sound where we stayed on Lopez Island in the raddest yurt on the edge of the coastline above the rocky beach.
I can’t wait to buy a house and have her paint a mural for me!
